SSC Stenographer is a unique exam because it does not have a Maths section. It is perfect for students who are weak in Quant but strong in English and Shorthand.
Exam Pattern (CBT)
Time: 2 Hours
- General Intelligence & Reasoning: 50 Qs (50 Marks)
- General Awareness: 50 Qs (50 Marks)
- English Language: 100 Qs (100 Marks)
Skill Test (Shorthand)
This is the most critical part. You need to write a dictation in shorthand and then transcribe it on a computer.

Preparation Tips
- English is King: It carries 100 marks. Focus on Grammar, Cloze Test, and Comprehension.

- Reasoning: Practice daily to score 45+.
